Love goes away??

Question

People around me is always telling me that love lasts the first two years of a relationship, and after those two years love is not the same... But I don't think that happens to everybody... What do you think?

I agree. I love my husband now more than ever. We dated for 4 years then got engaged and married last December. When we first started it was more of us knowing what we wanted and not bs'ing. We knew we were great together and we loved one another but being together more our love just continues to grow. Daily. 😊 if one can fall out of love or their love changes after two years then I can't believe that it was ever genuine.

Answer

I think it changes.  You're all caught up in hormones, adrenaline, and endorphins.  After a while you have to learn to have a true respect for each other. The list and hormones subside and every day you are making a choice to stay with the person you married.
