Karo syrup for constipation?

Has anyone use karo syrup to help with constipation?  I've heard it's good to use and I've heard it's bad.  Any advice for my 8 week old?

Baby sounds constipated. I used it with both of my children for the first year of their life.

Our pediatrician said The ingredient that used to be in Kayro syrup to help with that is no longer in it so it does no good, also I tried and it didn't do a thing for my son so he's been on milk of magnesia.

it works I had to use it when my 21 month old was a newborn and constipated, just don't put too much in the bottle

Mainly breast milk, but supplementing with Enfamil since birth

I was told to give a half ounce of juice and a half ounce of water twice a day . My daughter is on soy and it constipates her bad .
