How important is religion to you in a relationship?

Also, is there anyone here who's dating/married to someone with different religious views?

I always try to be super supportive of everyone's religious views, because I know how sacred they are, even if we don't agree. I know I don't always put God first, like I'm supposed to, but it is something that I'm always working at. I am not a perfect Christian, there is no such thing. But I believe that God should come before anyone, because I'm order to love your spouse to your fullest potential you must first love God. And I understand if people don't agree with me, that's fine♡

I'm agnostic and the only people I feel as if I'd have a problem dating are satanists. Other than that as long as they aren't trying to kill me or convert me I'm good.

I don't really care because I think religion is like a penis, great for you if you have one but I appreciate you not putting it in my face (unless I ask you to.)

That being said, I know how important it is so as an atheist, I can't see myself ever being with someone who is religious. (By that I mean like actively practicing religion, not just identifying with it). My boyfriend and I are both atheists but come from Christian backgrounds.

I think it's important in a relationship to the extent that you have to respect each other's beliefs or non beliefs.
Both hubby and myself are athiest so there is no issues with us but he is more open to hearing what others have to say about their beliefs where as I'm not. I know what I do and don't believe as does everyone else, and o won't push my views on others of they don't to me 😊

Religion or a spiritual relationship, is like a compass. Without the same one or similar, you'll both be headed in different directions IMO.
