So today I had sex with my bf and during it he randomly spanked me which I'm okay with but he also started chocking me I was unaware and caught me off guard and we never talk about what type of stuff turns is on and it took me by surprise I've never been strangled during sex should I be mad? I mean it did turn me on but he's my bf he shouldn't treat me that way or am I wrong?

If he turned you on why would you be mad? You can't base your turns ons by what other  people like. They aren't in bed with you. If you enjoyed it then you know it's something you like in bed. If you didn't enjoy it, tell him he doesn't need to do it because You don't like it. But you seem cool about it. Nobody else can tell you what you like in bed. Nothing's wrong in your sex life if you don't feel compromised by it. Everybody has different preferences and that's fine. If he's giving you want you like don't sweat it.

I don't like to be literally chocked but sometimes if we get kinky or something be will grab my neck a little tight but that's because he knows I like it. He never would do it if I didn't like it and he never would have done it if I didn't tell him I liked it first. It's like, once in awhile not something we do all the time.

If it wasn't hard and he wasn't literally chocking you, I wouldn't be worried but you must be worried if you posted about it. I would just talk to him and just tell him you do or don't like it and if he can or can't do it.

I enjoy it. It can be a great thing to trust your SO with that. Just be clear that while you enjoyed it you want to assure him you won't allow behavior like that outside the bedroom and he should always talk to you if he is interested in trying something new.

If it is something that turned you on it is tricky. But I think that if he wants to try something new like that he should talk to you about it first. He could have ruined the whole experience. Also where did the idea come from? I have only heard of it in reference to hard core porongaphy and bsm. Talk to him. Trying something new without consent usually isn't a good idea.
