First time, PLEASE HELP

So I'm currently in a relationship with I guy I like a hell of a lot, and out relationship is very intimate but we haven't had sex. I'm 15 and he's 16, so far we've done everything but have sex. I consider myself to be very mature and have dated older guys in my past relationships (17-18). We've got to a point when we both really want to have sex together, but I'm 15. I don't know whether I should speak to my mum about it and ask her permission or something along those lines but I feel sex is important in a relationship as it shows trust and love to me. PLEASE HELP😔
