I've been having sex for over a year and it's been with my boyfriend who took my virginity and most of the time I get a really sharp shooting pain in my stomach and around that area. Like sex is almost always painful for me and idk what to do or what it is. I'm 17 years old and like I wanna go to the gyno (I never have been) but I'm super nervous and I don't know how to talk to my mom about it, she knows I'm sexually active and she loves my boyfriend but it's just a really uncomfortable topic to bring up with her. Could anyone give me and idea of why it's so painful? Any suggestions? I really love sex honestly and I hate that it gets so painful for me.
