Spitting milk. Is it the bottle?

Hi all

Is it normal for baby to spit out formula and drip it all down her neck or is it the bottles im using? We have some munchkin latch, newborn avent and a playtex curved bottle.

My son was doing this when I had him on these short bottles that went up to 4oz. I'm sure it was the nipple . Then I switched to Dr.Browns bottles , and it hasn't happened since ! No more messes!

Have you tried Dr brown?

Try a slower flow nipple. We were using the slow flow size 1 nipple and it was choking my newborn. I got a premie size 0 nipple and it works great! We're still using it at 4.5 months. We use Avent Naturals.

I swear the same thing has been happening with my baby girl!!! I use Playtex Vent-aire and Avent. It happens with both bottles.. 😩

That happened to us when the nipple was too big, no matter the brand. Went to a slower flow, and problem solved :)

Same thing happened with my daughter till we tried the Nuk bottles. Now no dribble and less spit up. We were using the avent bottles and munchkin latch. Now she won't even take them only the Nuk ones.
