Bad mucus build up? Help???

Question

My docs haven't helped me with this, they've prescribed everything they could for a pregnant women. I've tried mucinex.

I'm literally spitting up all day long nothing but mucus, its white. I had this problem before I was pregnant, but it wasn't so serious as it is now that I am. Its makes everything want to come up, food and drink wise.

Anybody have this issue or know of something that could help?

You should try cutting out dairy and greasy/fried foods, do you eat a lot of dairy? Also increase your water intake  that will thin the mucus out.

I don't think you are supposed to take mucinex

Been suffering for a month now just caved and took flonase. Doctors are no help one says one is okay other says no. And the stuff that is okay doesnt work ... i have begged for help cause i am not sleeping and having breathing attacks and nothing.

I have the same issue right now and nothing is working. I'm on day 7 of this crap. Dr said it's just a virus going around, my nose is stuffed and coughing is killing my chest and head.

I've had this since before 12 weeks and I am now 31 weeks. I throw up every morning from it and am coughing it up all day. It sucks but I have learned to deal with it.

Every morning my husband asks if I'm sick b/c I have this gross mucus-y cough haha it gets begged throughout the day, but I always have some.

I've had a ton of mucus which makes me throw up often. Nothing really helps. I usually just eat mints as that makes me not throw up.

I'm going through this. Constantly feel like I have something stuck in my throat. Hacking up a glob of mucus on top of waking up with bloody nose.

I took Robitussin DM and it worked like a charm. It's way better than Mucinex, in my opinion. GL! I hope you get better soon.
