Vagina sore after fingering

Me and my boyfriend were playing around and he started fingering me. Putting one finger, two and then three. But because I'm really tight, he couldn't fit them in. And now it's the fourth day and my Inner and outer 'flaps' (lol) of my vagina is still really sore and red (not so much the inside). I need help on trying to ease it down. My panties were irritating it so I switched to wearing a g string but it's no use. I also tried putting lube so it wouldn't have so much friction. Are there any tips?
