While I don't overly agree with "Free the nipple"(call me a prude but why should anyone have the need to be shirtless), I do see the point made by the picture and I wholeheartedly agree with it

While I definitely support free the nipple, I don't think that those opposed to it or not fully on board are prudes. 
It's different, it's new, it's outside of the "norm" box.

Imo breastfeeding is completely normal and natural. I'm all for it. But being shirtless for no reason? Nah not my style. I prefer modesty, but that's just me. I personally don't wanna see anyone's nips lol

See. I prefer to dress very conservatively (to the point of usually having knees and elbows covered, so I'm a "prude" 😂 and I would never walk around shirtless.... However... Breasts are merely a secondary sex characteristic for women and anyone saying that they are "sexual organs" as an argument of exposing them, obviously must also be for men never exposing their beards or Adam apples!

It was only since around the 30s that men were deemed all right to go shirtless with swimming trunks and seeing a man in a Tshirt was like seeing a woman in a bra (and was a huge scandal in the 50s with that being the chosen fashion of many "greasers". So, I'm not against women being allowed topless. The only sexual thing about breasts is the fact that we as a society have sexualized them. I will equally tell men and women equally to "go put a shirt on!" And will blush as pink when I see shirtless men as I do women.

I don't see too large a group of women that will realistically don this as fashion once it's passed though because, let's be honest, most our girls need a little support lol! But to have that equality in legality, and in practice for those who choose to, is an important part of desexualizing a women's body as something "for him". There's a lot of work to be done and #freethenipple is just a small part of women calling out oppression.

I have multiple reasons for believing in the Free the Nipple movement.

1) As the picture shows, breastfeeding is a reason I believe in the movement. To see people publicly harassed and shamed for feeding their child is disgusting IMO. There's nothing shameful in breastfeeding you baby.

2) The oversexualisation of women due to having big breasts, especially minor's who've developed faster than their peers, or for how society thinks they should've developed. It's disgusting, and creepy and needs to stop. More exposure to breasts means the taboo and oversexualisation will be reduced due to normality.

3) Rape culture, people blaming a person's low cut tops/dress for the reason they were raped.

4) Because people should be able to just what's best for them in terms of the clothing they wear. There's no logical reason as to why people with breasts can't be topless, in places where people without breasts can.

I also support people who ultimately choose that going topless isn't the way for them.

I think it's a waste of time personally. But that's just MY time I wouldn't want to waste. I won't say it's right or wrong but I will say that if I wanted to see naked bodies, I'd go to a nude beach or strip club. Men get charged for public nudity, so do women. If everyone kept clothes on there wouldn't be a problem lol. My momma always told me not to give free shows to strangers.
