Has anyone had early deliveries and rejected the progesterone???

Question

I had my first son at 34 weeks and my daughter at 36 weeks. My OB Gyn says I should get a progesterone shot every week to make it to the 40 week mark with this pregnancy. But I'm really not sure... my husband tells me no and so does my mom. I mean both my kids were at 5lbs and they were both healthy. I just want to know has anyone rejected the progesterone shot??

They want me to get it as well. my youngest was born at 34 weeks but she was only early because my water randomly broke, so it wasn't for a health reason or really any reason for that matter. But I'm not getting it. I've read that It also only works 40 percent of the time to actually make it to full term. So not even half of the time. I researched about it before making my decision. So to me, i don't find it necessary for my particular scenario. If I have another early baby, then maybe it's just meant to be that way. But I'm praying I won't ❤ the decision is yours though, do what makes you feel comfortable 😊

My aunt always delivered early. With all nine babies. Never got that and all turned out healthy :)
