What do you mean by get over? Either way I would dump the loser and never speak to him again. But I'd rather be cheated on than hit, that's for sure.

He can slap me, but he'll get a swift kick in the balls and a black eye. He cheats and then all his friends and family will know. I'll make sure of that. But over all, a slap is easier for me. I can take a slap and get over it no problem, but cheating is hard to get over. I'm glad my SO isn't stupid enough to do either one.

I'd have a harder time getting over being cheated on multiple times...I was in a physically and mentally abusive relationship and stuck there for a long time, the mental part that came with it and the cheating is what's done the worst damage to me.

I wouldn't stick around after either. But just for arguments sake-

if I HAD TO stick around I would be 'waiting' for the next slap, atleast with cheating it's not like a bomb waiting to go off and walking on egg shells so someone doesn't get violent again. They are both awful but I do think domestic violence is on a different level

Tbh I can sympathize with people who get so angry they slap their SO.. I know I've been mad enough to do it (I didn't but still). If it happened one time, I may give them the benefit of the doubt ...

Depends who the people are, tbh. I know some people who are super physically sensitive. And who can't handle violence from loved ones cos of PTSD. So yeah.

On the other hand, cheating on someone multiple times screams some emotional manipulation. Trust issues are real, fam, and they don't just go away. It's really hard to cope with trust issues.
