Birthing center or hospital?

This is my fourth pregnancy and I'm thinking about using a birthing center instead of a hospital. I've had no problems delivering my babies but I did have an epidural. I might go natural with this one since it will probably be my last. My husband is hesitant against using a birth center in case of an emergency. What are your thoughts?

I was considering a birth center too, but hubby had the same problem. I talked to the hospital and they have tubs in the room and basically whatever I want to give birth naturally... Just in the hospital. 
Maybe see what options they have to give hubby peace of mind

I have had a couple of friends with very normal pregnancies and early labors but emergencies arose (one had to have emergency c section very quickly because baby went in distress suddenly, if she was at a birth center and had to get to the hospital the baby might not have made it). While I like the idea of the coziness of a birth center and I HATE IVs, and I've had 2 healthy deliveries, I'm too paranoid because of my friends' experiences even though it's a rare occurrence.
