Desensitizing gag reflex?

Has anyone had any luck with desensitizing their gag reflex. I mean clearly this would benefit giving oral, but I also just gag brushing my teeth. I've heard you can slowly train your way to not gag. Anyone ever done this and have good results?

I gag with oral, I gag when I cough, I gag when I take my vitamins, it's driving me crazy lol

I used to have an ED, bulimia. But after I met my boyfriend, he made me feel beautiful and I no longer felt the need to harm myself any further. He healed me. But since then, I have not had a gag reflex and he enjoys it very much. Literally nothing can make me gag unless it hits my mental senses. Yesterday we were testing it out where he'd stick his fingers down my throat and he finally came to the conclusion, "wow you really don't have a gag reflex 😉😏" lol I did it to him, he nearly threw up.

1. Understanding partner is a big part. Yes, I puked on my husband while learning to do tell my gag reflex.
2. Breath through your nose slow and deep, and go slowly while giving oral.
3. Consciously relax the muscles of your throat.

I have one trick that actually works for me. With one hand, wrap your fingers around your thumb and squeeze your thumb hard. Might not work for everyone but it works for me

You just need to go slow and take deep breaths when you give oral. If you do it fast then your gag reflex will react and then it's not good.

I'm gonna try something I found on the web where every time you brush your teeth you place it where you just start to gag and over time you should be able to push it further. I'll give an update in about a month! Thanks for all the tips! I'll keep them in mind!
