Low Lying Placenta?

Question

Just had my Anatomy scan, and was told I've got a low lying placenta, so will have another scan later to check it's position. 
Anyone else had this? Did it move enough for a natural birth? (I know it is attached. .. just the sonographer said they can be pushed out of the way as baby grows).

I went through this same thing, my placenta was fully covering my cervix at 16 weeks. I was told that it was unlikely it would move since it was "complete previa".... By 26-28 weeks it was 5 cm from my cervix and we were told it needed to be at least 3 to avoid a c-section. So please remain calm, anything can happen!! I sit all day at work, however I did continue to work out 30 min a day on the elliptical, other than that i was sure to rest when I could. And no sex, which I'm sure you were advised. I'm now 38 weeks and my placenta has remained far away from my cervix! Good luck to you!!

Yes,  I have one. Don't worry!  They almost always move!  Mine is currently 2 cm from. The cervix. It did cause a bleed so I just can't be super active and am on pelvic rest.

At my 20 week scan they told me I was placenta previa. They basically told me no sex and no crazy activity. I was told that unless it stretches upwards, I'll likely end up with a c section. I'm 25 weeks, they did a cervix check on me today, and said nothing to me. So I'm assuming nothing has changed. I know they really can't tell unless they do an ultrasound... But still ☺️ just watch for bleeding and those random gushes of fluid.

Thank you! That makes me feel much better. I've just do e some reading and it sounds terrible with bleeding etc! I will talk about it with my midwife when I see her next. When did yours move up?
