My son is two weeks old tomorrow and I've been EBF every 2-3 hours and one time at night I will let him sleep till the 4 hour mark because I'm so tired. Last night I slept right though my alarm and didn't wake him to feed until 5 hours past his last feeding. I felt like such a bad mama. He usually doesn't wake to feed, I have to wake him. Every medical professional stresses how important it is for baby to eat every 2-3 hours so when I woke up and saw the time I panicked and felt like I was starving my child. He's gaining weight so I know I'm not but I freaked. :( Has anyone else done this? EBF is seriously exhausting. (Especially since I have to use a nipple sheild and that's usually a battle to get latched)
