Hiccups or movements?

How do I tell the difference between hiccups and just kicks? I always see people talking about their baby having hiccups but I can't tell the difference or at least I don't know what to be feeling.

Hiccups have like a pattern,and are more consistent for a longer period of time. You can almost time them. They are repetitive.  Regular Movements can stop for a few minutes then start again and are just much more random and seem to move around more.

Hiccups are more frequent. You will usually feel a hiccup every few seconds for minutes at a time.
