Would you blame me?

Me and my best friend decided to ask each other to prom to make it cute or whatever.. and I asked her back in February and she wanted to plan this big thing for no reason, and she still hasn't asked me. I've recently been sick for basically two months straight been in the hospital and been to the doctors several times, and as a result I've been absent from school a lot. And she literally gets pissed at me because I'm not there on the days she secretly plans to ask me to prom. I'm sorry my health is important. Can anyone comment on this?
