implantation bleeding and cramps??

Today I'm 10 DPO and woke up with cramps pretty comparable to menstrual cramping (I typically experience light to medium intensity). I just went to the restroom and noticed I was spotting. My bbts have been down the last two days, so I'm wondering if it actually could be AF showing up early - not due for her until the 10th. I've always read that implantation bleeding tends to be light, but haven't heard too much about cramping and how intense they often are. Thanks everyone! Just hanging on to a thin sliver of hope that I'm not out for another month.
