Just a sac?

Question

Today I went for my second ultrasound and saw just a sac again for two weeks in a row. Based on the app, I'm 6 weeks and 4 days and feeling extremely upset, emotional and dishearted. The doctor said the hormone level did not increase like it should. Anyone have any success stories? Encouraging words?

I went in at just over 6 weeks because I had bleeding and cramping, and they saw nothing. They had me wait a week and come back. Worst week ever. At the next appointment, there was my little guy. They ended up moving my due date back 10 days (even though by my calculations, there's no way he was actually conceived that day).  I'm now at 38 weeks by my "new" due date and 39 weeks, 4 days by my original due date.

Thanks for your help. It's hard to stay positive when I have this in my head. I'm going on 7 weeks tomorrow and I moved up my appointment with my doctor. I will do another sonogram and hoping to see something. My hormone increased but didn't double. I feel so much heartache and pain.

I'd say try to stay positive and don't give up hope yet!
I similarly went through the same thing.
Had first ultrasound at about the end of 5 wks and just saw a sac, Dr was worried bc it was lower than usual placement.
Did blood work then follow up blood work 2 days later to check levels.  Mine were higher than previous day and dr was worried may be ectopic, miscarriage or all is fine.
Thank G-d all is fine !
Cried and feared that whole week that pain would be arriving and I'd possibly G-d forbid go through a miscarriage.
Are you feeling any pains?
A week later I went for 2nd ultrasound and this time we saw a sac with a yolk sac but still no sign of baby.
Better sign but was still worried.
By following week doc saw a heart beat and we were all relieved.

Many times we all just get ultrasounds too early. 
Many people don't go until week 8 or after because it's hard to see anything!

Thanks. The hormone increased but didn't double. I mean shouldn't I see something by now even a little bit? I get so many different responses. The doctor did say if the period comes it will be heavy or I might need a cleaning. I really don't want this to happen! I feel so hopeless and inadequate. I desperately want to be a mother and experience childbirth. I question why is this happening?

I can say don't stress - when I did my first BETA test It was only 32 the nurse told me some nonsense I did not want to hear that it really stress me. According to her I was 7 weeks. I spoke to the doctor and she told me to come back to the office and that she never told the nurse to tell me anything!! I went back and my HCG level was over a thousand!! And I was only 5 weeks and 2 days!! Seems the nurse made a mistake with calculations ! My doctor said as long it keeps getting higher that's all it matters! Not everyone doubles.
