I was molested by my birth father from the age of 3 (that I can remember)until I was 13. Told my mother at 5 and dad denied. Told her again at 9 and dad confessed. Told her again at 13 when he tried to take my virginity but with my struggle I was asodimised instead. My mother is still with him! Yes police got involved, he went to jail, 18 yr probation and therapy. Fast forward, I'm married. Told my husband after 3 months of dating. My parents asked me not to tell my husband. My sister told them today that he knows. Do you think my parents have any right to tell me I shouldn't tell my husband? They are angry with me.
