PCOS Advice?!?

Question

Hi ladies. I found out today after 10 months of trying and 3 rounds of Clomid (with no success) that I have PCOS :( I'm starting Metformin tonight and will start Provera if I don't start in a couple of days. Anyone have advice or stories about their experience with PCOS or Metformin? 
I'm new to the concept comepletely and a little scared..  Thanks in advance!

I have pcos and take metformin... Actually take the brand name of it because of the horrible diarrhea it gave me (sorry tmi). Word to the wise, if the stomach cramping lasts longer than a couple of weeks, talk to your doc. I went months without, completely miserable (and I mean miserable!! Tmi again but I was urgently using the bathroom several times a day and all the time worried it would cause an accident!) and it was just a simple change of prescription.

I have yet to conceive - this is our 15th month. I've been metformin regularly for about 9 months. Hubby and I are on a Ttc hiatus but I will still maintain the Glumetza. It helped me loose some weight, regulated my period (with help of fertility meds) and also has helped all of the other imbalances that occur with pcos.

I'm on metformin. No noticeable changes. Except tmi  it can cause some digestive discomfort the first few days. But once your on it stay consistent and those side effects go away.

My sister in law used metformin with all my 2. Nieces and my nephew. She said every time she started losing weight she got pregnant.
