Bloody show? I had a membrane sweep yesterday. Bled right after for a bit. Nothing huge. Went to the bathroom this morning 24 hours exactly later and tons of this keeps coming out and I definitely lost the rest of my plug. Hoping this sweep really works!!

Just igniting an old thread - my midwife yesterday after my sweep said this is totally a normal colour. Brown means old blood and to expect it.

Call the doc. It looks like old blood but because there's so much your water might've broke and you want to make sure there's not amniotic fluid with meconium in it leaking out. That can have a gray, brownish or green color to it.

That doesn't look normal to me. I had my membranes stripped with my first and I had pink show but not this mucus and brown. But it might be your mucus plug!! :) I would just call your doc and describe what it looks like and see if it's normal or not! Good luck!

When I lost the rest of my plug it was pinkish red and, well, mucousy. Lol

Idk call your doctor and see what they say, I only had pink toilet paper the day of my delivery, but they didn't sweep my membranes
