Fasting Number Coming Down?

Question

I just started insulin last night, tested my blood sugar this morning, and it's still high(103). How long did it take you ladies that are insulin to see a significant decrease in your fasting number after starting insulin?

Never! It's been 9 weeks. I still cruise between 100-150 and I'm up to 70 units. 
I honestly just gave up. I test to say I tested, then just move on.

Last night was the first night i took insulin and it was 101 when i woke up. I will give it 3 days and then i will uo my dosage.

After adjusting my insulin a few times my fasting numbers are finally in range. I started with 16u and am currently at 22u and 35weeks. Good luck!

I always struggle with fasting numbers.. And I heard they are the hardest to maintain anyway. It is frustrating even if you think you did your best.

Are your fasting numbers coming down at all??

Almost immediately. They probably will check in after a few days and if there is no change, up your dose.
