Would you get rid of your pet for your SO?

So a year ago my SO I had mentioned I wanted a kitten! We already had a dog but I just love animals and wante more. One night he surprised me with 2 kitties and I fell im love. Anyways a year later, and in 5 months pregnant. I love my animals, but my SO hates the cats. At first they would get into everything, and one would spray. I got him fixed and that helped that problem, but they shed literally everywhere. He absolutely hates it. Everytime he gets Hair on his clothes he gets pissed off telling me I need to get rid of the cats, they just need to go. I can't do that.. They are my fur babies! This happens about once a month, we get into a huge argument about the cats and how I need to get over them and get rid of them. and that once the baby is here they need to go. He feels we live in filth because of the cat hair. Our house is clean and it doesn't smell. It's really just the hair. Would you be able to do this for you SO? Or is it complete unfair for him to ask? Would you choose your pets? Both cats are white😩I brush them constantly, but the white hair shows up on everything.
