She's here!!!
Very rough and scary delivery... I went to my normal appointment Wednesday and my blood pressure was reshot high. I also had protein in my urine. Since I was two days from her due date they decided to admit me and induce. Since I was barely dilated to 1 and only 60% effaced they inserted something up there to soften the cervix that took 12 hours. Sadly when they checked after the 12 hours I had made no progress. I was so upset. I had been havin contractions for a few days before this and they were getting worse while the thing was inserted so I felt like All the pain was for norning!! They then started the pitocin and my contractions became very painful and close

Together. About 10 hours later I was dilated to a 4 and 100% effaced. Later that night as they continued to take my blood pressure it kept getting worse. It got waaaay too high and they had to rush in and give me something to Lower it and this nasty medication to prevent seizures that made me super over heated and sick. They described it as "flu in a bAg" all while having extremely painful and close together contractions. I finally caved and for the epidural. After that Lucy's heartbeat dropped. They went in and attached the monitor to her head. The Doctor then broke my water to speed things up. And then realized that Lucy has passed her first poop in the womb which was scary. Then as they were turning me on my side to spread the epidural Lucy's heart rate dropped really low again. At this point I had about 8 nurses in my room. They decided to do an emergency c section because I wasn't very far into labor and Lucy seemed stressed. So Lucy was born 4/7 at 11:47 pm weighing 8lb2oz 19 inches!! So scary and not at all what I expected but she is perfectly healthy and beAutiful!! Sadly we are still in the hospital. I've still been having Some issues with blood pressure today so I don't they'll let me go until it's under control. We are hoping to leave tomorrow. The problem is telling me my blood pressure is bad and I may have to stay makes me stress which makes my blood pressure worse lol. Definitely going stir crazy in here thigh lol. Lucy is doing great though!! Took to breast feeding right away!! We are ver blessed!! She's passed all her tests with flying colors!!!
