I have been on the pill for several months now and have had no problems. Recently (this Wednesday) I started having brown/red discharge??? Should I be worried?? My period is due to come in 2 days.

I've had the same stuff a couple times. My doctor told me it's just older blood it just means your last period just didn't get out all the blood during your last period. It shouldn't be serious.

This used to happen to me most months when i was on the pill ! I believe it is just old tissue from your last cycle that wasnt released and was therefore stored when you started taking your pills again after your 7 day break. 
If youre having other symptoms i would maybe try a pregnancy test (just to rule it out) as it could be implantation bleed etc. Or visit your GP to talk about what else it could be ☺️
