Where do babies come from

My 5 year old daughter has asked the dreaded question . Mommy how are babies put into the mommys belly !?? 
How should I go about this ? 
Any suggestions !!!!!!?!

I'm honest. We have a body book to answer any questions my son has about anything to do with the human body.

I haven't gone into detail about how daddy's penis went inside mommy's vagina, but he knows about eggs and sperm. I took a very scientific approach. Once he's a bit older and he continues to be curious I'll go into more detail.

My son knows that it comes from mommy and daddy. And he asked me if I ate daddy's part and it grew the baby seed. I couldn't help but laugh. Such innocence.

Just explain about the sperm and egg meeting etc. Show her a book of the growth.

My son did a sex ed class at that age that explained the science of it. Both the sex and the sperm and egg. The whole class did fine with it. I think we're more freaked out by it than they are.

Thankfully my daughter is only concerned with how the baby is going to get out lol. I told her when the baby is ready my tummy will hurt and I'll have to go to the doctor so he can take him out. She did ask once how he got in there but I just told her remember when mommy was throwing up a lot (morning sickness) when I went to the dr he told me a baby was growing in there. That seemed to satisfy her and she hasn't asked again. She's only 4 so I don't feel like she's ready for the exact science of the whole process yet.

Honesty is always the best option. There is age appropriate honesty though. I was honest with all my girls when they asked me. They know the proper names of all the body parts & what they do but when little they had their own unique nicknames & we allowed that. There are awesome books & YouTube videos that you can use.

Get a book off of Amazonthat helps explains!! That's what I plan on doing! There are some great books out there with pictures and simple explanations so they understand!
