Pulling Out

Okay so I'm not worried about being pregnant and I'm not stressing because I had unprotected sex, I am just wondering how well the pullout method actually works. I've seen articles from people that said they've used that method for years and years and I've also seen articles that stress the dangers of how easy it is to get pregnant using the pull out method. Any thoughts?
