Please help

So I just found out my daughters dad has a new gf ( he hasn't seen my daughter since December) well he didn't go too any court hearing when he filed for custody because of his new girl friend well now I'm scared that if his new gf try's too help him get custody that they could win because I don't have a boyfriend to help me with him:( do you guys know what I'm saying? It's just scarying me thinking that if he tried too get custody again he could win since he's in a relationship (I'm a good mother I work 40 hours a week) he don't work and neither does his new skank (sorry for calling her a skank but I just don't like her lol)
