Experience with progesterone shots for preterm labor???

Question

I'm 34 weeks today with my 4th child. Since I have a history of preterm labor (earliest actual delivery being at 36 weeks exactly, but labor had to be stopped several times with shots or pills in each previous pregnancy) I have been getting progesterone shots weekly since 16 weeks this go-round. My last shot will be at 35 or 36 weeks. This is my first time to get progesterone shots throughout a pregnancy so I'm wondering if anyone else has had experience with them, how many weeks you were when you received your last shot, and at how many weeks were you when labor & delivery happened?

I had my first baby unexpectedly at 34 weeks so with my last pregnancy, I had the progesterone shots. Was supposed to get my last shot in my 36th week, but my 2nd little guy came that week before the last shot. I've been on them again this time and I'm now 33 weeks. I feel like the shots are working better this pregnancy bc I've had less contractions and my cervix hasn't shortened.

Following as well! Had my first at 38 and second at 36 been on the shots since week 30 because of contractions but will get shots up until 37 weeks so 2 more to go!! I'm ready for baby though

I too had shots this pregnancy, I went into preterm labor at 26weeks, got it stopped, a,d my water broke at 32weeks. I am currently 33w2d and in the hospital trying to keep lil guy in at least 5 more days, 34weeks. I pray you are able to make it to your due date.

I'm on the same shots. My last will be at 35w4d (because dr said stop at 36 weeks but I get my shots on Thursdays which is always whatever week +4 days). I am also wondering when people go into labor after stopping...
