Had my first ultrasound today. I was told I'm 5weeks along, but she said she couldn't see anything yet. Is this normal?

Yes I was five weeks in three days and he told me to come back in 10 days for another ultrasound because they couldn't hear the heartbeat or see the baby yet. They said that they could only see the sack.

Yea usually they wait till 8 weeks to make sure its viable.

That's normal, everything is so small still. We couldn't see the baby at my 5 week ultrasound.

Yup! Nothing to see except maybe a sac at 5 weeks. Nothing to worry about.
