Mucus plug and pressure???

Question

I'm 33w 6d and today I noticed that I had a lot of discharge (WAY more than usual) and yesterday and today I have been feeling a lot of pressure and sharp pains down low. From what I understand I lost my mucus plug, could these be signs of early labor? I'm a FTM and worried /:

Losing your mucus plug is a weak sign of labor seeing as it can regenerate itself. Pressure is normal, I'm not sure about the sharp pains though. I would call your doctor or the L&D triage to see what they say. Hope everything is okay.
