Titled Uterus; Smaller Belly?

Anyone been told this before or know anything about it? I had a tilted (backwards) uterus before pregnancy which they say straightens out during pregnancy, but my doc told me that my belly was measuring small (below normal range) probably because I had had a tilted uterus, meaning that baby is probably growing closer to my back. (I had extra ultrasounds and all fine with baby.) Anyone else have experience with this and was your belly smaller? Thanks!
