What is a good age to lose your virginity?

I think whenever you know. And I don't mean want to, I mean actually KNOW. You should be with someone you trust. Personally, I was raped at 15...but I don't really consider that when I lost my virginity.

I made the choice when I was 16, with a boyfriend I'd had for a long time. I cared about him and he cared about me. We were safe about it and everything was very open and honest. Still, seven years later I stand by that choice.

It'll be different for everyone and there is no "right age" to lose it. For some people it's 16, for some people it's 35.

I feel as if it's when you are emotionally ready. Some people will say wait until you're in a serious relationship and some will say even wait until marriage, but I think that you'll know when you're ready to have sex. I did.

When you feel ready. If you're ready for that emotional trip do it. I'm not condoning children having sex but if their ready they will find a way to do it. If you are ready and ready for any consequences (STIs, pregnancy, etc..) then go ahead.
