Do I stop taking the pill?

I want to have a baby. I am in a long term relationship and we have spoken about having kids. My boyfriend wants them, (he wants 2 boys) but all he keeps saying is "if it happens, it happens." And he doesn't want me to stop taking the pill.  But I know for it to happen, I probably shouldn't be taking the pill. Should I stop taking it?

If you really want kids then I would stop taking it. But not without him knowing. I would make sure he's okay with it too.

I think that you should talk to him about it. If he doesn't want you to stop taking the pill it sounds like he's probably not completely ready, but it's also possible that he just doesn't totally understand how unlikely it is to get pregnant on the pill since a lot of guys don't
