When is everybody going to stop working?

Question

I'm currently 26 weeks and I teach high school. My commute is about 45 mins and the last week of school I'll be 36 weeks. My original plan was to try to make it through, but after seeing all these baby bump pictures I don't think I'll fit behind the steering wheel at 36 weeks!!!! When is everybody going to stop working? I have limited sick time and would rather use it after my babies arrive 😀😍

I am a nurse that works 3 twelve hour night shifts/ week. Luckily I have been blessed with a great pregnancy. My only complaint is the constant feeling of having to pee. I plan on working up until I give birth. I have not been working at this particular hospital for a full year yet so technically I only get 6-8weeks with pay (depending on how I deliver) but luckily my manager is willing to give me off the full 3 months 😁

I'm a teacher and 36 weeks, still working. My c-section is scheduled for the 25th. I'm going to try and make it through next week to get my seniors ready for their AP exam. I'm definitely miserable and these babies get heavier by the minute.

If everything goes well I will continue to work  to 2 days until my due date. After that I will take 12-18 weeks off but only getting paid for 12 weeks instead of the whole 18 weeks.

I'm a teacher and I stopped at 30 weeks. I've had a pretty easy pregnancy so far (knock on wood). Currently 35 weeks and csection is scheduled for the 29th. I could have definitely worked longer but all the cards lined up and it's been really nice to rest when I feel like I need it and to drink enough water and eat enough food just things I wasn't able to do easily while teaching. Stop whenever you want and don't feel guilty. Saying that I still feel guilty all the time for taking the time before off 😂

I'm a teacher too. My due date was over summer break, so I didn't take any time off before baby. I did stop driving around 37 weeks though. I think I could have made it all the way through if I had to but I would have carpooled with a coworker. I was afraid of driving more than just being uncomfortable. It just depends on what you think you're capable of. Good luck! :)

It's definitely possible for you to work until 36 weeks. I had to go on strict bed rest at 34 weeks, since my blood pressure shot up then, but before then I was on track to keep working until I had them at our goal of 38 weeks. Twin pregnancies are monitored at a week-to-week basis at the end since stuff happens so quickly!

I stopped working since I was 17 weeks. I have placenta previa carrying twins. My doc said I was fine to continue but no I quit on my decision. My mother had it. Had her twin girls at 30 weeks which was me/my sister.
