My fiance and I are due to have our daughter next month. Well, we aren't getting married until awhile after because he is currently in bootcamp for the marines.

To me, on how I was raised up I guess, I believe until him and I are officially married the baby should have my last name. My mom believes this as well seeing we really haven't been together a long time and things can end up bad in the end.

Anyways, he is irritated with this because how he sees it is, "she doesn't have his last name? = not his baby legally."

I'll also mention I have another daughter who is not his biologically and he is amazing with her, she loves him and thinks of him as her daddy, but if everything works out in the near future then he'd adopt her.
