Ladies what is PCOS ??

I've heard it but don't know what it means can some one tell me ?

Actually not everyone with PCOS has ovarian cysts. PCOS is an endocrine disorder. Women who have this can suffer from elevated androgen levels and also are often insulin resistant. This can result in infrequent periods, difficulty conceiving/infertility, weight gain/trouble with weight loss, excess bodily hair growth (including facial hair), hair loss on the scalp, depression, anxiety, etc. There is no one test to diagnose a woman with PCOS, doctors just look at your symptoms and if you seem to have some/all of the above, you will likely get that diagnosis.

A heartbreaking condition. It's affects you in so many ways, physically and mentally. I suffer from it, and an trying to get it to go away! Losing weight is definitely a way to reverse it! 😁
