Anxiety attack?

So I've been very stressed lately with school and grades and my boyfriend and an hour ago my thoughts just started racing and I couldn't control it and I couldn't understand anything and I started breathing really fast and crying and I couldn't stop and I had to get up and walk around my room because I just couldn't calm down and it's like I was randomly breaking down. I've never had this before...is that what an anxiety attack feels like? Or did I just have a freak out session
