When did you take a HPT after transfer???

I had egg retrieval today! We got 5 eggs. I was hoping for more but that's still good. Transfer will most likely be Tuesday the 19th. I have beta HCG blood test scheduled for the 29th. Has anyone take a HPT before that? Would it be a false positive due to the HCG and Lupron trigger shots on 4/12 & 4/13?

I took a of test 3 mdp5dt and it was negative (to test to see if trigger shot was out of my system.) I then took another test 7dp5dt on 12/24 and it was +!! My beta wasn't until 12/28 and just confirmed the test 😁 gl, I hope it sticks!!

It's hard to tell, depending on your metabolism, the trigger can take up to 12 days to clear. I decided to test out mine, but it never made it to negative. Got lighter, lighter, lighter, then at 9dp3dt, it started getting darker again. I was pregnant!
