Almost there!!

So today I had a dr appointment, I'm 39wk2d. My due date is this upcoming Tuesday!! Last week my dr checked me and I was not dialated but she said something about it being soft? She could touch the baby's head but when she would her little head would float back up. Well today she checked me and said that I am very very anterior but again, still not dialated. She was touching the baby's head and she said it's definitely engaged in my pelvis and is not moving up anymore. She also said baby dropped down a whole centimeter? Obviously I'm anxious for labor and being a FTM I have no idea what to expect. I have been doing everything possible to go into labor lol because I do not want to go over my due date.....I have nightmares of having a huge baby! LOL. does anyone know really what my doctor meant and if it means I could actually go into labor really soon? *side note, I've had barely any contractions 😔*
