I an a FTM so I had no clue what would happen once labor would begin. I have been in the hospital (for just over 2 weeks) due to a short cervix and a pesky umbilical cord that was not where it should have been.

Had a two pre-term labor scares in the past week but each time, staff got the contractions to stop (doctor was holding out for 34 weeks).

Well, this morning, babies had a different plan. Got up to use the restroom and once I got back to bed, it felt like I wet it...I got up again and the liquid just kept coming. Called the nurse and next thing I know, I am calling my husband to have him hurry to the hospital and I am getting prepped for a c-section (both babies breeched).

So at 3:20a and 3:22a - our little boy 4lbs, 14 ozs) and girl (5 lbs) were born.

I had no contractions, or any other labor signs. So glad I was at the hospital already - as much of an inconvenience it was....I was relieved to be surrounded by experts because...seriously I didn't have a clue :-)

Babies are in NICU...in very good shape. Not on oxygen machine or feeding tube. So thankful for their health!
