Take it Easy Advise? 😬

Question

I just had my doctor call this morning and say that I needed to take it easy because he wants to monitor my low-lying placenta previa. He said it can move and then when it comes time to deliver it won't be an issue. But he just wanted me to take it easy.  What the heck is that suppose to mean?! I coach softball so idk how to do that! Any advise?

I don't get that either. What will moving do? Stop the placenta from moving?? Doesn't make sense to me.

If he said that to me I would do everything I was already doing but ai would take a leaisurely walk every evening focusing on nature and I would meditate 5 min in the morning and night. Not sure that would help me.

I am extremely literal so I would have asked. "Please be very specific. Here are 10 things I did today. Which of these aren't 'easy'?" I am sure I annoy my doctor. And everyone I know. 😎

Stay off your feet as much as you can. Don't life things like laundry. Drink fluids and rest. As far as coaching id say at least you aren't playing. If it's only a few days a week it's probably ok just don't run,slide, bat or participate really. Only use your voice. Are you still working and what do you do?

It means don't exert yourself for the safety of you and your baby...if you don't HAVE to do something don't do it. Relax more.
