MIL was offended?!

I asked my MIL and BIL who live in my house get the whooping cough vaccine and my MIL laughed hysterically and my bf told me the reason why is because she felt offended?! How can she?! She lives in my house, eats my food, ruined my credit by almost getting me sued because of her choices and she was offended that I asked her for 1 simple thing while living with my bf and I?! Anyone else have to deal with this BS?!

I would put your foot down. I had to because SOs family has non vaccinatiors and had to say they weren't aloud around the baby till he was was. If anyone is going to be around my baby they need to be protected because he can't do it himself.

My MIL is currently refusing the vaccine and if she doesn't get it she will not be holding the baby and I am going to talk to my DH about face masks since Pertussis is airborne.

She and my FIL will be helping us with house repairs so "no being around baby at all" isn't an option, sadly.
