What would you do?

Snicket🎯அமாண்டா • Married to the love of my life for 14 years. Proud Pegan. All hail the mighty Pez.

Your SO passes away and leaves you with a hefty trust fund (enough to last for years - maybe even the rest of your life). There's just one stipulation.

You get monthly payments unless you marry someone else. In that case the monthly payments stop and someone else gets what's left.

Let's say, a few years later you meet someone. You fall in love. This person wants to get married but won't leave you if you choose not to.

What do you do? Marry your new love and lose the money? Or move in with your new love without getting married and keep getting the money?

The answer seems obvious to me. But after discussing it with someone else, I have to wonder how many people feel differently.
