Just diagnosed 2 weeks ago...
I'm really bummed out today. I keep getting told to eat more by my doctor and WIC but now my sugars aren't cooperating. Mostly just my morning fasting is 109-123 but great through the day. Last night I wanted a snack so I made ham rollups with some mayo. My husband smacked it out of my hand and onto the floor. I'm 28w2d and still 3lbs under my prepregnancy weight. It's where I dont even want to eat around him. I carefully count every macro for every food I eat, but feeling extremely depressed today. What foods do you ladies add for calories that don't spike your blood sugar? I do cheese and meat sticks mostly. Having GD and gestational hypertension has me feeling like a failure as a mom and my daughter isn't even here yet.
