We were watching a documentary about Basquiat (he was an amazing and prolific artist in the early 80's who died when he was 27) in class the other day, and we're talking about artists who basically destroy their life for their work and whether it's worth it to die at an early age if it meant you could do something great.

So I was wondering: if you could do something truly amazing and beautiful that would be remembered long after you were gone but it meant dying before you turned 30, would you still do it?
