D&c yesterday... Im so sore. Is this normal?

I'm a bigger girl so I'm sure they spread my legs pretty far and thats why my bikini area and my hips are sore but I'm having alot of cramping with no bleeding. I spotted yesterday after the procedure but today I've only had some brown spotting with some occasional small pieces of Grey tissue. Is this normal? The nurse called today to ask how I was and said I don't need to worry unless I'm bleeding alot. So I'm not worried about the lack of bleeding but I'm kind of worried about the pain I'm in. On a scale of 1-10 I'd say I'm at a 7. No fever so I'm not thinking I have an infection or anything. Anyone else felt similar the day after?

Oh and I should add the doctor told me I could go back to work today. I'm a self employed house cleaner and the home I had to do today was easy so I went since the doctor gave me the ok. Could this be why I'm so sore and crampy ?
