Period help!

I had my daughter this past November and since then I had my first period on Feb 2 and lasted 5 days and then I had my next on March 6th and lasted 5 days as well. Well, now my period was supposed to come 8 days ago and I still have not started. With my son, I breastfed him so my periods didn't come bAck until he was about 8 months old so I am not used to this. Anyone have any ideas? I checked my cervix and it's high, open and feels as hard as the tip of my nose like everything describes it. Could I just be skipping a period this month?
